Esha Deol confirms divorce with Bharat Takhtani after 12 years of marriage, says, ‘We have mutually decided to part ways’

Hema Malini’s daughter Esha Deol have been in the news for her married life with Bharat Takhtani. A few days back, reports were rife that she has parted ways. However as per latest update, Esha and Bharat in a joint statement have confirmed that they have parted ways.

They released a joint statement, as per DelhiTimes. It read, “We have mutually and amicably decided to part ways. Through this shift in our lives, the best interests and welfare of our two children is and will be of utmost importance to us. We’d appreciate our privacy is respected.”

For the uninitiated, Esha and Bharat had a private traditional wedding ceremony on June 29, 2012, at the ISKCON temple in Mumbai. After 12 years of marriage, they decided to part ways. The two are parents to daughters Radhya and Miraya.

On the work front, Esha worked in films like Na Tum Jaano Na Hum, Kyaa Dil Ne Kahaa, Hijack and Pyare Mohan among others. She made her OTT debut with Ajay Devgn’s Rudra: The Edge of Darkness.
