Esha Gupta, once rumoured to be dating Hardik Pandya, reacts on his sexist remarks

Appearing on Karan Johar’s popular chat show ‘Koffee With Karan’, proved to be quiet costly for Indian cricketer Hardik Pandya. His sexist and misogynist remarks on the show landed him in trouble. Yes, his comments on the show received flak from everyone and soon after that, he along with KL Rahul, was even banned by the BCCI from the ongoing ODI series against Australia.

Once rumoured to be Hardik’s girlfriend, actress Esha Gupta has reacted on his controversial remarks on the show. Recently, during a media interaction, Esha was asked about her views on Hardik’s comment. She immediately replied, “Who is the one who told you, he is my friend?” 

Later, the actress went on to add, “Firstly, women should not compare themselves with men. We are the best in every respect. I don’t want anyone to feel bad, but why don’t you give birth to a child? We suffer from periods five days every month and even then we have to dance, go to an office and take care of the children. When you can do all this, you become superior.” 

So Esha blatantly refused to even acknowledge Hardik as her friend. After facing the flak for his comments on the show, Hardik issued an apology. You can read his statement below:

But he has already lost few brand endorsement deals apart from being banned for the ODI series.

Apart from Esha, Hardik was also rumoured to be dating actress Urvashi Rautela and Elli Avram.
