Esha Gupta on trolls: If I’m bothered by a nobody’s opinion, it will be my fault

Where there is social media, there have to be trolls. And sadly, being a public figure, the pressure is even more as our celebs are constantly targeted and under scrutiny for every single thing that they do. Of late, the number of such incidents has increased and actress Esha Gupta is one amongst those celebrities to be targeted and trolled relentlessly for her semi-nude pictures on social media.

While the actress has given it back to these trolls in the past, she once again opened up on the subject. Why? Because she was criticised for putting up a picture which stated that she feels “proud to be an Air Force officer’s daughter”. She was trolled for doing ‘skin show’ while sharing the picture. So, the actress who seems unaffected by these trolls said in a statement, “Trollers are basically people who have literally nothing better going on for themselves. So, they get online and start pulling down other who are actually trying to make a difference. She further said, “If I’m bothered by a nobody’s opinion about my morals, it will be my fault. I believe if we are blessed enough by God to get a name and a platform where what we say will be heard, then it should be used to say things which matter, not just for promoting films. Everyone has the right to opinion, but trollers will troll on anything. I just wish they get a job or have goals in life.”
