With new year rolling in, the expectations and wishes from our Bollywood industry are also new. We are expecting the year 2016 to be filled with superhit films which are high on content yet entertaining ones. And with the looks of it, we feel that the year 2016 will witness some of the hard hitting films which would be loved by the audiences. In fact, the first month of New Year itself is going to be an action-packed month on the box-office with four big-ticket films making it to the silver screen.
Starting with Bejoy Nambiar’s ‘Wazir’ starring Amitabh Bachchan and Farhan Akhtar, it is a film about a wheel-chair bound chess master and an ATS officer. The two are connected through an incident which has brought about a considerable change in their respective lives. It is going to release on January 8 followed by Sunny Deol ‘Ghayal Once Again.’ Sunny pajji is making a comeback with this film which is a sequel of his hit film ‘Ghayal.’ Later, on January 22, Akshay Kumar will present his ‘Airlift’ which is a story based on the evacuation process which was carried out during Iraq-Kuwait war. Following this RajKumari Hirani’s production titled ‘Saala Khadoos’ starring R Madhavan will release in the end of the month on January 29. In between these highly anticipated films, we will also witness adult comedies like ‘Kya Kool Hai Hum 3’ and ‘Maastizaade.’ With so many releases in one-month audiences are surely delighted. But, isn’t the month of January considered to be a jinxed month?
Earlier, the makers used to refrain from releasing their film in the first month of the year as it is believed that whichever film releases in the month of January would be a flop one. But, in the year 2016, this belief is set to be changed. All the films that are going to release in January are the most-awaited films and a lot of buzz around the film has already been created. So, we are sure tat f not all, at least, few films would be a superhit. Let’s wait and watch which one it would be!
