The Big Bull, which is loosely based on stock-broker Harshad Mehta, features Abhishek Bachchan in the lead role. Directed by Kookie Gulati, it has become the “biggest opener of the year” on the OTT platform on which it premiered on April 8. Abhishek has given a stellar performance in this film.
Abhishek’s father the legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan is known for giving out his handwritten note and bouquet to actors whose performances he likes. In exclusive chitchat with Bollywood Bubble, AB Junior shared the occasions when he received the bouquet from his father. He says, “The first time he has given me a bouquet was for my second film Tera Jadoo Chal Gayaa but that was for some another reason. And then I received flowers for Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna. And then I received flowers for Guru. And after that, I haven’t so I am feeling a bit left out.”
So will Abhishek receive a bouquet this time? As we all know that’s the biggest validation for any actor in the industry.
Recently on The Big Bull’s biggest opening, Big B wrote: “WHTCTW… well done buddy… pride of a father… when the son starts wearing your shoes then he is no longer your so… he is your friend… so well done buddy!” In another tweet, Amitabh Bachchan gave a big shout out to his son like this: “The pride of a Father…The Big Bull, biggest opening.”

Earlier, the Dostana actor had taken to Twitter to celebrate the immense success his film The Big Bull enjoyed and how it was his fans who made it the biggest opener or “sabse bada dhamaka”. He wrote, “Maine kaha ‘Bada Socho’, Toh aapne #TheBigBull ko sabse bada dhamaka bana diya! Thank you for all the love.”
Abhishek also has films like Bob Biswas and Dasvi lined up. Last year we have seen the talented actor in Breathe and Ludo – for both he has received some great response.
