EXCLUSIVE: Aditya Seal recalls breaking up with Anushka Ranjan, admits he was a ‘possessive boyfriend’

Bollywood’s cutest couple Aditya Seal and Anushka Ranjan got married to each other in November and they had the dreamiest wedding that one can imagine. They have dated for 4 years before taking the plunge. However, before tying the knot, even Anushka and Aditya faced ups and downs in the relationship. So much so that, they have even broken up several times in the course. During an exclusive chat with Bollywood Bubble, the lovely couple talked about their fights, breaking up several times in between and being insecure about the other one’s past and exes in the recent episode of Chemistry 101.

When asked if she has any baggage from her past relationship, the Fittrat actor told us, “Yeah for me because I’ve had unfaithful partners and for me, that became like a norm and the thing is that if you ever saw me with anybody that I was seeing before, you will say that this guy can’t see the girl beyond this woman because he is that in love, he is that obsessed. When he showed me that love, I was like ‘unfortunately, I have seen that before and I know how it ended up and I didn’t want to lose what we have because I feel like it could happen because it has happened. It wasn’t like I was in a bad relationship, I was in a great relationship, with good people.”

When asked the same to the Student Of The Year 2 actor, he told us, “I have had previous relationships in the past, all of them have not been good but that didn’t affect anything with her,” Anushka added that he is very easy breezy yaar.

Talking about fights and breakups, the couple mentioned that they have fought many times and have thought we are done. Seal even mentioned that they have broken up 8-10 times. “Most of the time he only used to irritate me, he is very irritating as a person. He sometimes takes me for granted, so that used to upset me a lot and I used to get very irritated with that and I was like ‘don’t do that’. I feel like you don’t listen because he has such an easy-breezy attitude and I’m like dude you’re not listening, you need to listen and absorb what I’m saying that it won’t happen again’ and he wouldn’t do that. He will be all lover boy, sweet and nice, I don’t have an issue with that, I’m talking about the other aspect of life like when we grow up. He never trusted me initially because I had a lot of guy friends, I’m very flamboyant and I’m very out there and he was not comfortable with that. I told him ‘Listen, that is my public persona,’” Anushka mentioned.

Further adding, Aditya mentioned he used to be a possessive boyfriend. “I was very possessive, it used to bother me a lot, one of the reasons why we had fights but it took me time to understand that this is who she is, it took her some time to make me comfortable in that aspect of her life because there would be some old exes of her who would be friends now and would be around her and I would be around them and I think ‘how is this even normal, I have no exes around me’ but they are actually friends. It took me some time to understand that. After that, I have never had problems trusting her. If she has exes in front of me, it’s better than not having me around. I know what’s their equation, it’s right in front of me.”
