EXCLUSIVE: Antim actress Mahima Makwana opens up about her experience of working with Salman Khan

Antim: The final truth actress Mahima Makwana has come a long way from carving her niche in the television industry to soon marking her Bollywood debut opposite Salman Khan. The actress is gearing up for the release of her upcoming film Antim, which also stars superstar Salman Khan and Aayush Sharma. Mahima Makwana worked with Salman Khan for the very first time. And, in an exclusive chat with us, the actress opened up about her experience of working with the star. Mahima Makwana even revealed how Salman Khan made her comfortable while she was nervous during the shooting of Antim.

Talking about Salman Khan, the Antim actress told Bollywood Bubble, “He’s such a fun person to be around. He would crack jokes. He would make you comfortable.”

Mahima revealed that earlier she used to be uncomfortable around Salman, knowing the big Bollywood star he is. However, she revealed what Salman Khan told her when she was uncomfortable in front of him. She shared that Salman said, “You don’t have to be nervous, you should know that you’re good.”

Makwana continued, “When this comes from him, you know it carries a lot of weight. You know, and I think we forget, you know, behind a superstar, he’s also a human being. You know, the fact that, jo bhi unke baare mein bola jaata hai (whatever is said about him), keeping everything aside, I think he’s a great person and I would always be indebted for the opportunity and for the kind of belief that he had in me. Because somehow he saw my journey in my eyes.”

Mahima Makwana even shared what Salman told her and how hard she has worked to achieve this feat. She added, “He could somehow identify and he could understand.”

Meanwhile, Antim is directed by Mahesh Manjrekar. The film is scheduled to release in theatres on November 26.
