As the release date of the film is just around the corner, Antim star Mahima Makwana had an interesting chat with Bollywood Bubble, where she spoke about her financial lows, her struggles, her initial days in showbiz, rejections and many things. Speaking about rejections, Mahima revealed that she once felt that showbiz is not her cup of tea and wanted to leave the industry until she realised that acting is what she enjoys the most.
Antim star Mahima Makwana exclusively told us, “When I started auditioning for tons of things that I was doing while I was a child. I have almost lost count of how many auditions that I have given right from the beginning. It was my mom’s dream to become an actor, in which I thought I can inculcate or even touch that space a little bit. So that’s how it started, I gave tons of auditions, there were rejections. There was a point where I told my mumma, ‘Mumma, I’m going to focus on my education maybe this is not for me. And for some moment like a brief moment, I drift apart. But then I knew that no, I enjoy being in front of the camera, maybe this is what I want to do for the rest of my life. It was not an easy journey, having lost my father at such an early age, to run the household, to be able to undergo the social scrutiny that one has to go, to be able to manage and to complete education simultaneously. I couldn’t lead a normal life.”
