EXCLUSIVE: Anushka Ranjan REVEALS her father’s first impression of Aditya Seal: Bengali, Haryanvi, tumhare bacche pagal honge

On November 21 this year, Aditya Seal and Anushka Ranjan celebrate their first anniversary. And even though theirs has been a dreamy love story of about five years now, it has had its funny and weird moments as well. Recently, Aditya Seal and Anushka Ranjan got into an exclusive conversation with Bollywood Bubble where they opened up about Aditya’s first meeting with Anushka’s parents, and the reaction that her father had during and after the meeting is just pure hilarious.

Talking about that first meeting, Aditya revealed, “Her mom instantly fell in love with me, it was instant. Agar hamare kuch arguments bhi hote the, her mom would always take my side like he’s such a nice boy, you know let these things go, kuch bhi hua it’s fine it’s fine, he is such a nice boy. She still loves me a lot, like a lot. Her father took some time because obviously girl’s father is gonna take some time to have that liking.”

Instantly, Anushka made a startling revelation. She shared, “He even tried to make sure he doesn’t marry me. He is telling him, kuch kaam nahi karti hai ye, isko kuch nahi karna aata. Kuch bhi kharab hota hai, papa fix kara do, papa AC theek kara do (She doesn’t do any work, she don’t know how to. If anything gets broken, she will just call me to fix everything). I said what, who are you talking about? You are making me sound like one degenerate child.”

When asked what was the feedback she received from her family after Aditya left, especially from her dad Shashi Ranjan who is an actor, director and publisher of GR8 magazine, Anushka informed, “Mom loved him, my sister loved him, my dad didn’t know what to say to he is saying iska maatha bahut chauda hai (My dad didn’t know what to say so he said Aditya has a very wide forehead). And I am like dad, you can say anything about Aditya, but uske looks pe nahi kuch bol sakta aadmi, ye to guarantee hai . Bechare he was like kuch to main problem nikalun ladke mein, main kya bolun (You can’t say anything about his looks, that’s a guarantee. But he was like I should pick out some flaw in the guy, what should I say). Then he told me what’s his caste, I said Bengali. ‘Bengali, Haryanvi, tumhare bachhe pagal honge.’ (He said, Bengali and Haryanvi, your kids will be mad). I said ye kya bolne wali baat hoti hai, is he good or is he not? He said that’s fine but tumhare bachhe pagal honge. So I said ab honge to honge, dekh lenge tab (I said what kind of a point is it to make, is he good or not? He said that’s fine but our kids will be mad. So, I said we’ll see to it when it happens).”

However, Aditya added that his confidence just increased manifolds in front of Anushka’s father after their marriage. He said, “Ye sab hua, but the day I got married to her, then main seena chauda karke unke saamne gaya hun, her father (The day I got married to her, I went to her father very proudly with a wide chest). I told her just a few days ago that pehle main bahut shy hota tha, but ab main bahut comfortably baiththa hun because I won (I told Anushka that before I used to be very timid in front of him, but now I sit quite freely in front of him because I won). I won without saying it, I won, I married her.”

Aditya and Anushka look perfect with each other and their chemistry is quite adorable. The two of them look super cute together and it seems like both of their families just adore them. Here’s wishing the couple a very happy wedding anniversary.
