Actor Ayesha Jhulka is popularly known for her acting performances during the 90s era. The actress featured in several Hindi movies and was loved and adored by her fans. Jhulka makes her acting comeback with the web series Hush Hush, which also stars Juhi Chawla, Karishma Tanna and others.
Back in the 90s, actresses who worked together were often pitted against each other. In an exclusive chat with us, when asked about the cat fights during the 90s, Ayesha Jhulka shed light on how the actresses were pitted against each other in the 90s, to how that perception has changed today.
Ayesha told Bollywood Bubble, “Let me tell you one thing, if I would work with Mamta Kulkarni or Divya Bharti, we were just two of us, two women, two co-actors and we would have really good equations. Of course, a bit here and there. I think, when we’re younger and we have those insecurities, and thoda bohot bhi ( and a little but also) there is anything, even if you ask ‘what is she wearing?’ It will be created as you know oh my god. So, it was actually blown out of proportion.”

She further added, “But let me tell you, hota hoga, hua bhi hai (cat fights). I do not deny that everything is absolutely. Of course there were, jealousy happens.”
The Hush Hush actress continued, “Sometimes, this kind of thing is healthy also. But, at the same time, imagine, six plus one, plus so many more. The first thought that would be probably come ‘Oh my god, cat fight! Yeh toh animal fight hogi (This will be animal fight)’. But then again, I think there are two important things, one is the captain of the ship, how she’s handling the whole thing.”
