EXCLUSIVE: Bigg Boss 15: Not Rs 35 lakhs, Rhea Chakraborty was offered Rs 50 lakhs per week, but she refused

According to several reports, actor Rhea Chakraborty who has been in the limelight since last year was supposed to enter the Bigg Boss 15 house. Reportedly, she was even being offered Rs 35 lakhs per week to be in the show.  However, the actor politely turned down the offer. Now, BollywoodBubble exclusively got to know that she was not offered Rs 35 lakhs but Rs 50 lakhs per week. In total if she stayed for 105 weeks, without winning as well, she would have earned Rs 7.5 crore; however, the Jalebi actor refused to take the offer. 

Going by the whopping amount, that is the highest the show has ever offered to any contestant. Given the fact that the winner takes home only Rs 50 lakhs. Meanwhile, Rhea has been keeping a low profile ever since she was granted bail last year after being in judicial custody for a month. An FIR was filed against her by her late boyfriend Sushant Singh Rajput’s parents right after his demise. She was accused of money laundering as well as abetment to suicide. The actor was then arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau for her alleged connection to drugs. 

Rhea Chakraborty was last seen in Chhere along with Amitabh Bachchan, Emraan Hashmi, Krystle D’Souza, Annu Kapoor and more. Produced by Rumy Jafry, the movie received mixed responses from critics as well as the audience, the film is currently streaming on Amazon Prime Video.

Coming back to Bigg Boss 15, the grand opening night will be premiering tonight at 9:30 PM. Contestants like Ieshaan Sehgaal, Tejasswi Prakash, Karan Kundrra, Simba Nagpal, Afsana Khan, Pratik Sehajpal, Nishant Bhat, Shamita Shetty, Vishal Kotian, Vidhi Pandya, Umar Riaz, Sahil Shroff, Donal Bisht, Miesha Iyer, Akasa Singh are set to enter the Salman Khan house.
