Radhika Seth, who has marked her debut as an actor with Call My Agent Bollywood has been receiving heaps of appreciation notes and accolades for her performance. In an exclusive chat with Bollywood Bubble, she opened up on her big debut and more. Read on.
How are you feeling about your big debut?
I am feeling very nice and feeling very relieved and excited as it is finally out and people can see my work, so I am really excited.
Why did you choose this project as your launch project?
I felt like it was a really interesting script and I felt like nothing of this sort has been done before in our industry. Of course, it is a remake of a French show. I thought it will be really interesting to be part of something that has not been done before. It is a comical office drama space, which is also very informative about the Hindi film industry and I could relate to my character. I don’t even think that the general public even knows how much goes on behind the cameras.

What was the one thing or things you really liked about your role?
My character’s name is Nia and I feel she is such a relatable sweet young girl who comes into a city to find her own space in a city like Mumbai where there is a cut-throat competition. She is very determined about what she wants. That’s very relatable and I loved playing it. I felt as if I am that person as I too shifted from Delhi to Bombay to find my way in this city as well.
Is there any season 2 in the works?
Not that I know of, but I hope it is. I would love to be part of season 2.
Are you happy with the reviews that the show is getting from audiences and critics?
I read a bunch of reviews and they spoke really highly of at least the actors that were involved. It was really nice to read all the reviews because it was for the first time I was being reviewed.
What was the best compliment you received?
I think somebody said that I added life into my character. That was really nice. I was scrolling through my feed and saw it. My parents have watched the first season like three times. My mom started watching it at 12.30 and didn’t get up till 6.30.

What was it like to work with Ahana Kumra, Rajat Kapoor and Soni Razdan?
It was so much fun. I learned so much from all of them and they were all so nice and welcoming to me. I remember we used to always eat together and everyone’s vanity became a shared vanity where you can walk in any time and just have a conversation with them and we would always chill together. The whole time on set we would always be with each other. It was like no one was ever alone.
Can you talk about any of your upcoming projects?
I am doing a bunch of meetings and still figuring it out. I am not sure if I am allowed to talk to. Nothing that I can disclose.
Any Bollywood plans?
I hope so, I would love to, my show just released, and let see how it pans out I am trying to figure out what to do next.
