EXCLUSIVE! Ileana D’Cruz on Akshay Kumar’s National Award: Couldn’t be prouder

Akshay Kumar won National Award for Best Actor, for the film ‘Rustom’. The movie also starred Ileana D’Cruz in the lead role. We contacted the actress to know her views on Akshay’s win, and Ileana stated that Cynthia (her character in ‘Rustom) couldn’t be prouder.

The actress stated, “Russi continuing to win hearts nationwide and his Cynthia couldn’t be prouder! Congratulations Akshay!!!”

We are sure like Ileana even Akki’s fans are proud of the actor.

Akshay was simply amazing in ‘Rustom’ and surely deserved this award. The actor had wonderfully portrayed the role of the Naval office in it. This is for the first time when the actor has won a National Award, and we are really proud. However, we wish he could have won at the other award functions too, but winning a National Award surpasses it all, so we’re not complaining.
