Jacqueline Fernandez started her career in Bollywood with the sweet little film Aladin in 2009, also featuring Riteish Deshmukh and Amitabh Bachchan. Ever since, her film choices just got bigger and better and she went on to star alongside some renowned actors in some big-budgeted films.
One of the biggest projects in the filmography of Jacqueline Fernandez is the Salman Khan-starrer Kick which also marked Sajid Nadiadwala’s directorial debut and the filmmaker has already announced his plans to make a sequel to the film titled Kick 2. While there has been strong buzz around the project, no concrete development has yet happened officially on it. Recently, during her appearance at the green carpet of IIFA 2022, Jacqueline indulged in a conversation with Bollywood Bubble where she gave a hint on the film’s development.

It was mentioned that Sajid has already announced the project but no update has been there on the project since, and when asked if the film is really happening, Jacqueline had just two words in response. She said, “Fingers crossed.”
Kick was released in 2014 and was an official remake of the 2009 Telugu film by the same name. The Hindi remake featured Jacqueline, Salman, Randeep Hooda and Nawazuddin Siddiqui. The film was a blockbuster at the box office and gave the actress her biggest grosser by that time. Sajid Nadiadwala had announced the sequel to Kick in February 2018 and the original lead pairing of Salman Khan and Jacqueline Fernandez is expected to return in Kick 2 as well.
