EXCLUSIVE: Ishaan Khatter clarifies his ‘no phone calls for 2 weeks’ comment on KWK was not about ex-girlfriend Ananya Panday

Ishaan Khatter recently delivered a terrific performance in Phone Bhoot. Ishaan starred alongside Katrina Kaif and Siddhant Chaturvedi in the film. The talented actor now joined us for a fun round of Rapid Fire on Bollywood Bubble. Ishaan Khatter, once and for all, clarified that his ‘no phone calls for 2 weeks’ comment on Koffee with Karan 7, was not meant for his ex-girlfriend-actor Ananya Panday.

Ishaan told us, “People misunderstood it. People thought I was talking about my last relationship and that’s not what that was. It was a relationship, I said it in context to a relationship and I don’t regret anything.” When asked, “But two weeks?” Ishaan replied, “We broke up after that.”

For the uninitiated, on Koffee with Karan 7, Ishaan was asked by Karan Johar what is the worst thing he had done as a boyfriend, and Ishaan revealed, “When I was upset, did not answer the call for two weeks.”

Ishaan Khatter and Ananya Panday were in a relationship. However, things didn’t work out and they called it quits. The ex-couple worked together in the masala film, Khaali Peeli. They played childhood sweethearts in Maqbool Khan directorial.

During the fun Rapid Fire round, Ishaan also revealed what he would like to steal from his exes Ananya and Janhvi Kapoor. Apart from this, he also revealed some hilarious secrets about his brother-actor Shahid Kapoor, Bhabhi Mira Rajput and others. He also spilled the beans on his relationship status.

Talking about his latest release Phone Bhoot, the supernatural comedy film is directed by Gurmmeet Singh and produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani under the banner Excel Entertainment. Phone Bhoot released on 4^th November, 2022.
