Janhvi Kapoor marked her Bollywood debut with Dhadak, bankrolled by Dharma Productions. The actress who is the daughter of late actress Sridevi and filmmaker Boney Kapoor earned appreciation galore for it. Janhvi was supposed to make her Bollywood debut when her mother passed away. The Dhadak star has time and again spoken about the close bond she shared with her mother and how her sudden demise left the entire family shell-shocked.
Well, in an exclusive interview with Bollywood Bubble, Janhvi opens up about how the family was devastated after her mother Sridevi’s demise. Also on how brother Arjun Kapoor and sister Anshula Kapoor stood beside them like a rock.
The Dhadak actor exclusively tells us, “It’s a modern family for sure I think. It’s hard for us to say completely for me Khushi, Arjun and Anshula didi to say complete ever because we are missing a very integral part of the family in our head but I think what we’ve done for each other or at least what I feel they’ve done for me has given me some semblance of. I don’t know if normalcy is the word but security and stability and comfort and so much love, that they have become my strength.”

She added, “Whether it’s complete or incomplete or normal or modern or whatever it is it still feels like family and it feels wholesome and I feel happy. My father is happy, he truly is very happy that you know all four of us are working on being a family.”
