EXCLUSIVE: Janhvi Kapoor makes it official that she is single

When you are a part of an industry like Bollywood, it’s not just your work that is out there in the public eye. Even your personal life stays under constant scrutiny as it is a part of being a public figure. So, who you date or dump, or even just go out with, becomes a news because of the stature that you have. Add to that the tag of being a star kid and that scrutiny just increases manifold. Janhvi Kapoor has been subjected to that even before she entered Hindi cinema, it just became much more prominent after she became a part of films. Being an actor, she is constantly questioned about her relationship status, and in a recent interview with Bollywood Bubble, the actress gave an official confirmation on the same.

During the interview, Janhvi Kapoor played a fun game of Rapid Fire with us where she made some startling revelations. In one of the questions, the actress was asked that if her name wouldn’t have been Janhvi, what would she have liked to be called and why, to which she gave a quippy answer saying, “Laila.” When asked why, she said, “I don’t know.”

Janhvi was prodded to say that if she is Laila, then who is her Majnu, to which she clearly said, “No Majnu. My audience is the Majnu.” So, when straightaway asked if she is currently single, Janhvi answered, “Yes. I am.” Previsouly, Janhvi had been rumoured to have dated actors Ishaan Khatter and Kartik Aaryan, but she has never made anything official before. And even though she is single right now, she had 3 names ready from the industry that she would like to have in her swayamvar, as she took Tiger Shroff, Aditya Roy Kapur and Siddhant Chaturvedi’s names.

As Janhvi has made her relationship status official, many people are left feeling happy while some are feeling sad. But that is for sure that the actress deserves the best that is out there, and hopefully soon she will meet that person and they will have a love story for the ages.
