EXCLUSIVE: Karan Johar finally reacts to rumours of Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani’s wedding

Karan Johar might have started off as a filmmaker in showbiz, but over the years he has expanded his horizons and has donned several hats. From being a chat show host to emceeing events and being a constant on the judging panel on several reality shows, the maker has done it all and achieved success on all those fronts. He is now all set to get back on the judging table alongside Madhuri Dixit and Nora Fatehi in the upcoming Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 10. Before that, Karan played a fun round of Rapid Fire with Bollywood Bubble where he unveiled some secrets while giving some fiery responses.

In the past one year, Bollywood has witnessed many celebrity weddings with couples like RajKummar Rao-Patralekhaa, Vicky Kaushal-Katrina Kaif, Alia Bhatt-Ranbir Kapoor being few of those who have taken the plunge. In the ongoing season of Karan’s show Koffee With Karan 7, these weddings have been a point of discussion, along with some future ones as well.

When Karan was asked what would be the next Bollywood wedding the people will see Karan Johar dance at, the filmmaker had quite a quippy response as he said, “Ask me no secrets, I will tell you no lie.”

Recently, on the last two episodes of Koffee With Karan 7, much was speculated about Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani’s wedding. Even Karan had said that he would dance to Dola Re Dola during the sangeet, along with Shahid Kapoor. When pointed that it could be the next wedding to take place, the filmmaker reacted, “Please, nothing is confirmed. Don’t ask me, I am not confirming anything.” He even had a quirky addendum to that statement as he said, “You might never know, I might be getting married next year. How do you know?”

Karan indeed has an amazing wit and sense of humour, and the filmmaker never fails to exhibit it. While as the audience awaits any official announcement on Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani’s rumoured wedding, Karan’s promised performance has indeed made it much more exciting. For now, it would be really amazing to see him back on the judging panel and Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 10 is surely going to be better because of him.
