EXCLUSIVE: Kartik Aaryan on his struggle, being an outsider: People didn’t know my name even after PKP 2

Kartik Aaryan has come a long way with his hard work and perseverance. The actor has managed to entertain the audience with his stellar performances in his films. He has garnered a massive fan base who even love and adore him. Kartik Aaryan, who made his Hindi film debut with the 2011 film Pyaar Ka Punchnama struggled for 3 long years before he got his big break. Even after being an outsider, the actor has managed to carve his niche in Bollywood. In an exclusive chat with us, Kartik Aaryan opened up on his struggle.

The Dhamaka actor told Bollywood Bubble, “My struggle period started when I was in third year. I used to travel through local trains and come to Mumbai, give auditions in Andheri or Bandra, Santacruz wherever the auditions were, and go back again, via those trains and cross Navi Mumbai, Vashi bridge, and you know, go back to my hostel.”

Kartik added, “So yeah, that was life for me for like three years practically. And finally, Pyaar Ka Punchnama happened.”

Kartik Aaryan further spoke about how the audience did not know his name even after the film Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2, which was a box office success. He said, “When you are not from the industry, aapka sabse bada ek mudda yeh ban jaata hai ki aapka naam kaise log jaanenge. (When you are not from the industry, the most important thing for you is to figure out how people will know your name.)”

Kartik added, “For the longest time, for like six-seven years, nobody knew my name. When I was in the industry, I had already given Pyaar Ka Punchnama 1, Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2, which was a box office success, still people didn’t know my name. It was Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety, after which they started calling me ‘Oh, Kartik Aaryan’.”

The actor opened up about how after the film Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety, his face was registered with the audience and then everyone started writing about him. He said, “And everybody had so much interest in my life all of a sudden. Even I didn’t gather why. I’m still the same. I was still the same.”

Meanwhile, Kartik finally said that it is difficult when you don’t know people around.

On the work front, the actor was last seen in the recently released film Dhamaka. He has Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, Shehzada, Freddy, and a few other films in his kitty.
