From being referred to as that monologue guy in Pyaar Ka Punchnama to be the real crowd-puller in films like Dhamaka and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, Kartik Aaryan has covered a long journey in showbiz that has been full of struggle. But today he is reaping the fruits of that patience and hard work that he did during this time. His perseverance really paid off as today Kartik Aaryan is one of the most sought-after actors in the Hindi film industry and his latest film Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 is one of the most awaited releases of the year.

This journey that Kartik has lived, has been full of ups and downs. Where he has faced many big successes, there have been terrible failures too, but they have only made him stronger. A lot of nasty things have also been written about him during this while and the actor has always maintained a poised and respectful stance on them. During an exclusive conversation with Bollywood Bubble recently, the actor opened up about it and how it affects him.

Being a celebrity, a lot is written and talked about you and when you are a movie star in India, the quantity and scale of that is quite high. One might assume that a lot that is spoken about him might not reach to his ears, but the actor denied it. He said, “It always reaches me. The smallest of talk about me reaches me.”

But Kartik also insists that over the course of time he has learnt how to deal with it and keep moving ahead. “I have come to a point where I have realised that people will say things and do things (against me), but you have to be sane. You just cannot change yourself again and again and people around me are always happy, they are really enjoying whatever I am doing right now. I love my job, so I am enjoying it. I don’t want to think about anything (said about me as) sometimes it’s rumours, sometimes things are blown out of proportion. It’s just that my family is something that I really get worried about because they get worried when they read something written about me. But I feel that it is not something in my hand so what to do about it,” he insists.

No matter what is said or written about Kartik, the actor has risen over it all and the buzz around Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 is a testament to the love he enjoys from his audiences. The film released today to a good word-of-mouth and it is expected to bring the audiences back to theatres. There is a lot riding on Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, not just for its team but for the whole Hindi film industry, and the Kiara Advani and Tabu co-starrer seems to be heading on the path that will fulfil all these expectations.
