Actor Vishu Reddy, also known as Vish, made his Bollywood debut with the movie Liger. The film was directed by Puri Jagannadh and also starred Vijay Deverakonda. Ahead of the release of Liger, Vishu Reddy, aka Vish, sat down with us for a fun segment of Rapid Fire. During the interview, the Liger actor spoke about the myth he had about Bollywood that got busted after his Hindi debut.
When asked about the myth about the South industry that Bollywood has, Reddy told Bollywood Bubble, “This personally happened to me. I think, a lot of people, they all think, South is all one, and we all speak one language. That is not true.”
Talking about his myth about Bollywood that got busted when he made his Liger debut, Vishu further added, “Another thing that I felt after coming here. I felt that Bollywood would be totally different, full of ambition and all. But, yeah, I think it’s not like what I expected, everybody is so friendly, like everybody is so welcoming. Everybody is so nice, it is something which I didn’t expect.”

Meanwhile, during the rapid fire round, Reddy also spoke about his Liger co-star Vijay Deverakonda and filmmaker Puri Jagannadh. He went on to heap praise on Vijay Deverakonda and spoke highly of him. Reddy also said that the one thing that he would like Bollywood to learn from the industry in the South is ‘punctuality’. The Liger actor called ‘Prabhas’ the Pan-India star. He went on to talk about Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan too.

Liger stars Vijay Deverakonda, Ananya Panday, Vishu in key roles. The movie was released in theatres on August 25. The film has been receiving decent reviews from all sections.
