EXCLUSIVE: Madhuri Dixit gets involved with the TV series on her life

Madhuri Dixit’s life has been a success story and has been truly inspiring. The actress who is an inspiration to may has many reasons to tell her story.

Global icon Priyanka Chopra has taken charge of producing an ABC single-camera sitcom based on the life of Bollywood diva Madhuri Dixit who moved from her home in India to Colorado after she married her husband.

Madhuri, who is otherwise, private about her personal life is perhaps, closely involved with this project. She is in the loop about each and every development about this TV series.

Ask, Madhuri about the status of this project she said, “TV is a very different ball game and it’s always churning. So it’s in the works, its happening but, I don’t know when it will happen but its churning I would say.”

The show will be about Madhuri’s life in the American suburbs: in the mid-2000s she moved to a Denver neighborhood following her marriage to cardiologist Shriram Nene.

The sitcom will focus on Dixit’s attempts to bring her colorful style to an otherwise dull place full of people who have no idea how big of a star she actually is overseas.
