Madhuri Dixit and her husband, Dr Shriram Nene are pure ‘couple goals’. They constantly shower love on each other on social media. Madhuri Dixit met Dr Shriram Nene at a party during her visit to the US and they instantly struck a romantic chord! They fell in love and have been married for years now.

Recently, Madhuri’s new single Tu Hai Mera was released recently. In an exclusive conversation with Bollywood Bubble, the Tu Hai Mera singer recalled the first time she met her husband. She opened up about the time when she could tell Dr. Shriram Nene was ‘Tu Hai Mera’.

Dixit recalled the first meeting and said, “I met him at a party at my brother’s house. And it was so refreshing to meet a person who had no clue as to what kind of films I’ve done, who I am. And you know, he just knew that I’m an actress, but that’s about it.”

She added, “He didn’t know exactly. Because he’s grown up there. And 17 years you have to study to be a doctor out there. To specialize in Cardiothoracic surgery. So, seventeen years of your life, you have to dedicate to your life to study for that. And so, he was very busy and he had not really seen my movies.”

The Fame Game actress continued, “It was so refreshing when I met him. We were just talking about various things, about life, about this, about that. Like normal people, you know. And I thought, he had no preconceived notions about what kind of person I am. Because of what he’s seen on screen.”

Madhuri Dixit further shared, “So, it was so wonderful to see him and talk to him. And then we met again and I think we started talking a lot. And we met and then dheere dheere of course, I started realising ‘Yeah, Tu Hai Mera’.”
