Malaika Arora is back as one of the judges for India’s Best Dancer season 2. For the unversed, it is a dance reality show and actress Malaika and choreographers Geeta Kapoor and Terence Lewis are the judges. Tiger Pop was the winner of Season 1 and the new season will air from 16 October 2021. And now, in an exclusive interview with Bollywood Bubble, the actress opened up on several things including her love for dancing and about the new season of IBD.
When asked about the new season of India’s Best Dancer, Malaika Arora said, “In season one, I was blown away by some of the talents. and I was like how to beat this. This time in season two I am amazed at the kind of talent we have.

And they are so prepared when they come on the set and for auditions. It is not like they have zero knowledge. They have so much much knowledge about dance. So that’s why it is an even bigger challenge. Now we have to make sure that we hone them and give them that direction. And show them the right path and how to take that forward. We live in a country with so much population. I think we have to have the best talent.
When asked about how important is a dance in her life, to which she replied,”
“It is a very integral part of my life. It is a way to express myself. It is a way to destress myself. It is a way to feel good about myself. It helps me to stay fit. It is such an amazing way of communicating. I am really happy that I can do something that I love. That I am really passionate about and get paid for it.”
She added, “It is nice to see that people are taking dance so seriously. It has become a proper way of life in terms of. It is a proper legit profession. You can just shove it aside and say it is just a hobby.”
