EXCLUSIVE: Manushi Chhillar on why she chose Samrat Prithviraj: I think a film like this chooses you

Miss World Manushi Chhillar is all set for her big Bollywood debut with YRF’s Samrat Prithviraj. The stunner will be seen opposite Akshay Kumar in the historical drama directed by Dr. Chandraprakash Dwivedi. The movie is all about the legendary warrior Prithviraj Chauhan and features Chillar as Princess Sanyogita.

Manushi Chhillar is all set to take over the big screens this weekend with her debut release Prithviraj. In an exclusive conversation with Bollywood Bubble host Akash Bhatnagar, she answered some burning fan questions. One of them is, why she chose Akshay Kumar starrer Samrat Prithviraj as her debut film?

Manushi Chhillar said, “I think a film like this chooses you, it’s not that you are not the only one choosing you know a film like this. More than that yes I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity of choosing another film at that time. But after listening to, that you are getting to work with Yash Raj Akshay Sir and Doctor Saab and after listening to narration from doctor Saab(Dr. Chandraprakash Dwivedi). The conviction with which he narrates the story, you’re already sold to the idea.”

“I read about Prithviraj Chauhan and Princess Sanyogita, I remember reading Amar Chitra Katha going on about how they looked together. I think the story was very exciting and getting to play something that you relate to because you read about it that whole idea was very exciting,” Manushi Chhillar added.

Prithviraj” is scheduled to be released in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu on June 3.
