The National Film Awards held this morning, honoured many Bollywood movies as we saw Hindi cinema winning trophies in abundance. And one among the winning films was filmmaker Nagesh Kukunoor‘s flick ‘Dhanak’. It was a heart-warming tale of a little blind kid and his sister who promises him that she would bring back his vision before his tenth birthday. This movie with a beautiful journey, bagged a National Award in the Best Children’s Film category. (Also Read: EXCLUSIVE! Ileana D’Cruz on Akshay Kumar’s National Award: Couldn’t be prouder)

It’s indeed a proud moment for Bollywood as cinema is being appreciated in the best form. We congratulate the entire team of ‘Dhanak’ for the victory. Also, other movies like Sonam Kapoor’s ‘Neerja’ and Taapsee Pannu’s ‘PINK’ too bagged National Awards.
