Parineeti Chopra made her acting debut with the romantic comedy ‘Ladies Vs Ricky Bahl’. The actress went on to prove her mettle as an artist with various projects such as Ishaqzaade, Shudh Desi Romance, Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar, and Saina among others. Parineeti recently appeared in Code Name: Tiranga.
The actress has definitely come a long way in her career. And there’s no denying that her journey has its ups and downs. Now, in an exclusive interview with Bollywood Bubble, Parineeti opened up on her failures and described her current phase of life as ‘2.o’ i.e. a new version.
She told us, “If I keep doing the same thing again and again then where is the growth? The reason that I’m calling it 2.o is because I myself has evolved as a person and I want to do different things. Plus, mere andar hai alag cheeze joh main sochti hu joh mein dikhana chahti hu to the world (I have it in me, different things that I want to show to the world). I want to sing more. I want to produce films and I want to act in different roles. I want to be a part of my career. I want to be a part of my decisions and I want to be a part of my films.”

Parineeti added, “I think that when it had gone, and where I was not collaborating with myself in my career and I was listening to the wrong people, I think that’s where I went wrong and that’s my learning. For me, the meaning of life like I always tell you guys is, I’m such a sufi soul. For me, meaning of life is very big. A career is part of that and my career also should be an interesting part and chapter of my films, my book, my story, whatever that is. So, I’m actually very glad that some failures came into my life because otherwise I would’ve never learned, I would’ve never changed. So, I am able to be a 2.o in my head or do different things and take more risks and choose different things only because of those failures so thank God that I saw some lows.”
