Raashii Khanna is one of the most popular actresses in the South. Recently, she made a comeback to Bollywood with her debut OTT series Rudra: The Edge of Darkness which starred Ajay Devgn in the lead. The actress made her acting debut in a supporting role with the Hindi film Madras Cafe with John Abraham.
Now, she is all set to star in yet another Bollywood movie Yodha alongside Sidharth Malhotra and Disha Patani. In an exclusive conversation with Bollywood Bubble, Raashii opened up on her experience of working with Sidharth in the film, “From long back, people were trying to cast us in a film and I am so glad. I had this conversation with Sidharth and said ‘I’m so glad it’s happening with this film’ because apart from just the romantic side there’s so much more to it. There’s so much that I am learning from him (Malhotra) and there’s so much I am doing without him in the film and it’s just that best film we would have been a part of,” she added.

The actress also spoke about her character from Yodha and said: “The character is a really strong girl, and it’ll resonate with a lot of woman.”
Raashii revealed that she would never be a part of a Dharma movie. “I never thought I’d be a part of Dharma, because it is a dream for so many actors. I was an outsider and I thought there’s no place and it’s only for insiders. Honestly, that’s how I felt, but that changed completely when I was welcomed with open arms and that such a nice feeling. You just feel like it’s so good to be a part of such a production house.” Calling it a great feeling, she said: “I think it’s beautiful also because of Sidharth.”
Meanwhile, the movie is scheduled to be released on 11 November 2022.
