EXCLUSIVE: Radhika Madan gets emotional, tears up while talking about Irrfan Khan’s death: He is immortal

Late actor Irrfan Khan is deeply missed by fans, friends, colleagues, and close ones, even today. The actor passed away last year and left this world for his heavenly abode. Irrfan Khan was known for his stellar performances and acting prowess. His last film was Angrezi Medium, a sequel of the film Hindi Medium. The film also starred Radhika Madan. Radhika played the role of Irrfan Khan’s daughter. Radhika Madan got the opportunity to star opposite the brilliant actor in his last film. In an exclusive chat with us, Radhika Madan revealed how she feels about the fact that she is one of the actors to share screen space with Irrfan Khan, before his death.

Speaking about the experience, the Shiddat actress said, “The thing that I keep close to my heart is that I got the opportunity, to work with Irrfan sir. But it kind of breaks my heart that I was the last one.”

She added, “I can’t thank my stars enough and I got to work with him. He was an incredible person, an incredible actor.”

Madan continued, “Whenever I am missing him, need some inspiration in my life, he is alive in his films. That is beautiful.”

While talking about Irrfan Khan, Radhika even got teary-eyed. The actress got emotional as she opened up about working with Irrfan.

Angrezi Medium was late Irrfan Khan’s last film. The movie was released in theatres in March 2020. However, the film was moved out of theatres due to COVID-19. Irrfan played the role of Champak Bansal, a protective father, while Radhika Madan essayed the character of his daughter, Tarika Bansal, who wishes to pursue higher education abroad. The comedy-drama film was directed by Homi Adajania.

Irrfan Khan breathed his last on April 29, last year. The actor died at a Mumbai hospital after suffering a colon infection.
