EXCLUSIVE: RajKummar Rao is showing a different kind of masculinity: Huma Qureshi on the actor’s career choices

RajKummar Rao is one of the few talented actors in the country. And, over the years, the actor has proved his prowess with his acting skills and versatility. RajKummar is currently gearing up for the release of his movie Monica O My Darling with Huma Qureshi and Radhika Apte.

Ahead of the release of Monica O My Darling, we sat down for a candid chat with the team of the movie. In an exclusive conversation with Bollywood Bubble, Huma Qureshi opened up about RajKummar Rao and his choice of movies. The actress said that her Monica O My darling co-star is showing a different kind of masculinity with his choices.

Huma spoke about RajKummar and his career choices over the years. The actress said, “In a scene which Raj and I have done, I think, very few leading men in this country, a fight sequence, would play it the way he has played it.”

She added, “And, once has to like applaud that and celebrate that. And what Raj is trying to do with his film choices he does, it is a different kind of masculinity. Which I think is so refreshing to see and so nice to see. So he must be, which is why he is so successful among his contemporaries.”

During the interview, RajKummar also opened up about his anniversary plans with wife, actor Patralekhaa. He shared if the couple is planning to throw an anniversary party. And, the actor even mentioned how he plans on celebrating his first wedding anniversary with Patralekhaa.

Meanwhile, Monica O My Darling stars RajKummar, Huma Qureshi and Radhika Apte. The movie is slated to release on November 11, on the streaming platform Netflix.
