EXCLUSIVE: Rakul Preet Singh on boyfriend Jackky Bhagnani as a producer: Our personal and professional boundaries are well-defined

Last year in October, Rakul Preet Singh and Jackky Bhagnani made their relationship Insta official with a cute and lovely post. And after having quite an adorable romance, the duo has extended that relationship to their work as well as Rakul Preet Singh features in the recent dance single, Mashooka, that is produced by Jjust Music by Jackky Bhagnani.

While talking to Bollywood Bubble in an exclusive conversation, Rakul spoke about her experience of working with Jackky as a producer. Talking about the difference between Jackky as a producer and a boyfriend, Rakul said, “No, It doesn’t mix. Way in the beginning we had this conversation just to be in good mind spaces that we will not mix personal and professional lives and the personal and professional requirements that we have. If I am the actor on set and I need something, I need that irrespective of he is producing it or not. And similarly, he will not take it as since it is Rakul, so you know, let’s do it this way. So, our personal and professional boundaries are well-defined.”

The actress clarifies that even doing Mashooka was completely a professional decision for her. “Even when the song, when he played that to me, my team heard the song. And it wasn’t like I have done it because it is a Jjust Music song. He did Prada with Alia which was a big hit. So, even for me it was like if we are doing a dance number, that’s the only dance number we could relate to. We just keep it like this,” she shared.

But with Jackky being such a good dancer and her showing her skills in Mashooka when asked if their is an on-camera collaboration on cards for the two, Rakul responded, “I haven’t thought about that. He has worn a completely different hat right now and he is keeping very busy with that hat. Let time decide.”
