EXCLUSIVE: Ranbir Kapoor-Alia Bhatt make the perfect couple: Mouni Roy on Brahmastra co-stars

Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt-starrer Brahmastra released the gone weekend in theatres after a long wait and the film has been receiving immense amount of love from the audience. While the movie had a lot of factors working in its favour anyway, one of the major highlights was the real life couple of Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt coming together on screen for the first time. Coincidentally, it was on the film’s set only that their romance began and they eventually tied the knot this year in April and are now expecting their first kid. In a recent exclusive interaction with Bollywood Bubble, their Brahmastra co-actor Mouni Roy opened up about seeing them together.

When mentioned that since the Ranbir-Alia romance began on the sets of Brahmastra, she got to witness their love story from the beginning, Mouni butted in saying, “Hardly, only on the days that we have shot. But everyone is very professional on set.” She insisted that even if she saw their love, it was “from afar”.

But the nation almost manifested this relationship as these two actors look amazing together, and Mouni agreed that even she is one of the fans of Ranbir-Alia as a couple. She asserted, “Oh my god! they look so cute together, off and on screen. I just think they make the perfect couple to be very honest. And she glows, like she glows inside out. I really truly love her talent, love the way she is as a person. She is fire on screen and so is Ranbir actually. I am a huge Ranbir fan and I think she is one of the greatest actors ever born in the country.”

Mouni even shared what she admired and learnt from them as individuals and as actors. She shared, “I’ll talk about both of them together, the dedication. The way they are dedicated, you know they never used to leave the set. It was so amazing to see that from the two of them, who are country’s one of the biggest superstars, that they never left the set. They would just be there waiting, rehearsing. Even when lighting were being done on them, the body doubles would hardly come in and it was just amazing to see that.”

While Ranbir and Alia have become the nation’s favourite couple, even Mouni and husband Suraj Nambiar have received a lot of love from the country and its great to see all of them doing so great in their personal as well as professional lives.
