EXCLUSIVE: Ranbir Kapoor & Alia Bhatt sans typical superhero costumes for ‘Brahmastra’?

Actors Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s ‘Brahmastra’ has been the talk of the town ever since it was announced. The upcoming fantasy adventure trilogy titled ‘Brahmastra’ is directed by Ayan Mukerji.

While superhero films have always excited the Indian audience the director of ‘Brahmastra’, Ayan Mukerji plans to take this to another level without aping the Hollywood style. “Ayaan has played up the emotions and it has a very strong story plot. Unlike typical superhero films in this film, the audience will not see the actors in typical superhero costumes. The audience will be stumped to see this kind of cinema on the celluloid,” a source close to the team revealed.

According to our sources, the actors will be seen with superpowers and the film will also be high on action. The major portion of the film will be shot in Bulgaria.

This will be the first time that Amitabh Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt will be joining hands for a project. The trilogy’s first part will release on Independence Day, August 15, 2019.
