EXCLUSIVE: Was made the poster boy of a cheater: Ranbir Kapoor on being judged for his past relationships

Ranbir Kapoor is one of the most talented and successful actors in Bollywood. Ranbir Kapoor is currently busy promoting his upcoming film Shamshera. Before the film’s release, Ranbir sat down for an exclusive interview with Bollywood Bubble and he opened up about a lot of things about his personal life including being judged for his past relationships. The actor, who is now married to Alia Bhatt, revealed he was made the ‘poster boy of a Casanova and a cheater’.

Talking about being constantly judged for his past relationships, Ranbir said, “Take me granted or take me for a ride and I don’t mind it. I love my life, I love my work, and I love my family. I’m very grateful for everything I have in my life.”

Ranbir added, “I am an actor and people can say anything about me. They can say something good, they can say bad but eventually what matters to me is that they must like my movies. My focus, my hard work and energies are only towards making a good film. It really doesn’t bother me if somebody bitches about me or if anyone says anything bad about me. It doesn’t boil my blood.”

Ranbir went on to add that he is aware about the things that are spoken about him. He said, “There’s so much spoken to me. I became the poster boy of a Casanova of someone you know.. of a cheater. People have heard somebody’s perspectives, people have heard somebody’s point of view and they haven’t heard mine. I don’t think they will ever hear it also and it’s fine. I am here to do my job and I am here to be an actor and that’s all I want to do. I don’t want anything else to do in my life.”

Ranbir’s personal life has always made headlines. Ranbir has dated Deepika Padukone and Katrina Kaif in the past. The actor tied the knot with Alia in April this year. The couple dated for five years before deciding to marry. The couple is all set to welcome their first child soon. Alia announced her pregnancy in June by sharing a picture of herself and Ranbir from the hospital along with the caption, “Our Baby… Coming soon.”

On the other hand, Ranbir Kapoor and Vaani Kapoor starrer Shamshera is slated to release on 22^nd July.
