EXCLUSIVE: Ranbir Kapoor: “I think I am a below average actor”

Exclusive: This star kid has a clarity and a reality check over him. Actor-producer Ranbir Kapoor who has always been grounded irrespective of his stardom stature says he doesn’t take the success or failure too seriously.

“Its an important phase of my life when your films don’t work when you hit failure. You want to be successful but failure hits you bad,” the Barfi actor said.

In the exclusive interview with us, the actor added, “I don’t take success or failure too seriously. I don’t take myself too seriously. I think I am a below average actor and a below average person. But I do have confidence in myself.”

The film also stars Paresh Rawal, Jim Sarbh, Karishma Tanna, Manisha Koirala, Vicky Kaushal, Sonam Kapoor and Dia Mirza in lead roles. Co-produced by Vinod Chopra Films and Rajkumar Hirani Films in association with Fox Star Studios, the film is scheduled to release on June 29.

The actor is currently busy shooting for Ayan Mukerji’s ‘Brahmastra’ with girlfriend Alia Bhatt. Apart from the duo, the film also features Amitabh Bachchan in a lead role. The cast has recently wrapped the first schedule of the film. Apart from this, the actor will soon be seen in ‘Shameshra’ with Sanjay Dutt. The actor will begin shooting for the same by the end of the year!
