EXCLUSIVE: Saqib to share the thrill with Salman in ‘Race 3’, confirms Ramesh Taurani

‘Race’ is one Bollywood franchise, which has literally had our pulses racing with its taut plot, twisting characters, and a firm storyline. There is no doubt that this is one series which has managed to give a new lease of life to the genre of thriller in Bollywood. While the first part starred the likes of Saif Ali Khan, Akshay Khanna, Bipasha Basu, Katrina Kaif and Anil Kapoor, the next instalment saw the exit of Akshay and Bipasha, with John Abraham and Deepika Padukone coming on board. And now, Bollywood is all set to simmer with the third instalment, which stars none other than Salman Khan.

Though we knew that Jacqueline Fernandez and Bobby Deol were a part of this Ramesh Taurani production, but now, there is a fresh development on the cast and we have an exclusive quote, from Taurani himself. (Also Read: Wow! Bobby Deol joins the team of Salman’s ‘Race 3’)

Upon calling him, the producer confirmed that Saqib Saleem and Daisy Shah were indeed on board and an addition to the already set cast. But what interested us further, was the revelation he made about Saqib’s character when probed further. “No, I can’t tell you about his role. But keep in mind that he has a very very important role to play,” he said.

Oooh! This has got the Sherlock inside us inspired. Is Saqib going to be the villain, or is he going to be the goody-two shoes who turns out to be a stronger character? Well, with the ‘Race’ franchise, you never know who turns out to be who, at the end.
