EXCLUSIVE: Sonakshi Sinha on marriage plans: ‘Dad would never want me to get married; mom sometimes drops that little bomb’

Actor Sonakshi Sinha recently released a new music video, Mil Mahiya whose upbeat music and catchy lyrics are making everyone groove and how. However, BollywoodBubble exclusively got in touch with the actor where she happened to talk about her marriage plans. Interestingly, her situation is just like all the girls whose parents are looking for a suitable prospect. That’s right, many girls can easily relate to her marriage situation. While speaking to us, Sonakshi revealed that her mother Poonam Sinha does talk about her marriage but her parents have also given her the liberty to tie the knot whenever she is ready.

The Dabangg actor told us, “If it is up to him (Shatrughan Sinha) then he would never want me to get married. Mom sometimes drops that little bomb ki abhi toh time hogaya, (marriage) kar lena chahiye, and I just give her one look and then she’s like acha thik hai thik hai (laughs). No, there are not like I’m glad that they have given me that kind of independence where until I’m not ready they will not really like sit on my head and like ‘shaadi karlo beta’ because see, I’m happy with my work and I’m doing well.”

Nevertheless, Sonakshi is rumoured to be dating Notebook fame Zaheer Iqbal; however, neither Sona nor Iqbal have confirmed the same. In June, on Sinha’s birthday, he penned a sweet wish for his alleged ladylove where he wrote, “Aap sabhi ko Sonakshi Jayanti ki bahot bahot shubhkaamnaye Like I always say … Mera bus chalta toh aaj bank holiday hota Happy Birthday Sonzzz (sic)”

On the professional front, Sonakshi Sinha was last seen in Bhuj: The Pride of India opposite Ajay Devgn and Sanjay Dutt. She reportedly has Kakuda in the pipeline.
