EXCLUSIVE: Tamannaah on how Genelia made her realise importance of uplifting other actresses: She told me I was beautiful

Actor Tamannaah Bhatia was last seen in Plan A Plan B with Riteish Deshmukh. The film was released on September 30 and it garnered mixed responses from the fans as well as critics. However, Tamannaah recently spoke about Riteish’s wife and actor Genelia D’Souza whom she not only called one of the warmest people but also recalled her first encounter with her.

During an exclusive interview with Bollywood Bubble, the Baahubali star was asked to describe Genelia. To which, she told us, “It’s been great. In fact, I have known her since the time she was doing South Indian films and at that time I had just started acting and she was already an established star at that point in time so I know her from then. she’s always been super relaxed and super chilled out. In fact, I have done a cameo in her film. I did a cameo in Ready.”

Tamannaah even stated that Genelia was the one who made her realise her beauty and that people need to complement each other more often. She told us, “But I love one thing about Genu you know there is this thing like when female actors meet there’s a bit of like you know not really kind of being warm to each other but I think Genu is super warm. She is one of the few people who actually made me realize that and sometimes it takes another woman to tell you that you’re so beautiful I do this now with a lot of people I meet I tell them how beautiful they are because sometimes you yourself can’t see what you are but it’s when people start noticing it and Genu was one of the few people who actually told this.”

Adding to this, Riteish Deshmukh also mentioned that when Tamannaah Bhatia made her debut, the Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na actor was impressed with her performance and said she will rule the industry one day.
