EXCLUSIVE: Will THIS actor be Janhvi Kapoor’s father in ‘Dhadak’?

With bated breath, we are looking forward to witness the much awaited Bollywood debut of Sridevi’s daughter Janhvi Kapoor and Shahid Kapoor’s half-brother Ishaan Khatter in the film named ‘Dhadak’. Karan Johar has taken up the charge to give them a dream debut and going by the buzz, one can surely say that they are going to be hit at the big screens.

The posters say it all. But what about the other characters in the film? As we know ‘Dhadak’ is the official remake of Marathi film ‘Sairat’, one who has watched it would know that the character of the girl’s dominating father is also crucial to the film. And well, we may have a hint on who is going to be Janhvi father in ‘Dhadak’.

We recently got in touch with actor Ashutosh Rana who revealed to us that he is a part of ‘Dhadak’. Though he refrained from sharing further details over the character he is playing in the one, we are guessing that it could be that of Janhvi’s father.

His persona fits perfectly to the character. The girl’s father in the film is of dominating kinds who is extremely strict with his kids. He is a politician and his image matters to him too much. In no given way he would let anyone tarnish his image, not even his daughter. We believe, Ashutosh fits the bill perfectly here because we have seen him essaying such intense characters before.
