Because, of tuition times, winters, dad would be sometimes out of town and your mode of commutation would be a cycle rickshaw. But these boys you know, would be on bikes. And would be following your rickshaw. It became, it was really uncomfortable. I remember the death stare that I used to have for these guys. I used to just ignore them. I used to be like a wall.”

The actress added, “Only once I remember. There were two guys on a bike and probably they got really irritated that she’s not giving any reaction or response. They would just say anything. They would just rant anything to anyone. And they got their bike really parallel to my cycle rickshaw. How much can the cycle rickshaw guy do and paddle. The whole point was to reach home before it was dark.. And it was starting to get dark. And then he again started commenting. Again, I was blank.”
She continued, “There was only one moment that I remember. He extended his hand to maybe grab my hand. And I just slapped him really hard. I don’t know from where I mustered that courage. Because from where I was on a rickshaw and he was on a bike. And it could’ve just gone wrong. But it scared him. And he just zoomed off. It really scared him. That one tight slap on his hand.”
