Rajinikanth’s fans were very much dismayed when their idol’s movie ‘Kochadaiiyaan’ release was postponed. There were reports that a private bank had sent a repayment-default notice to the producers of Rajinikanth’s ‘Kochadaiiyaan’. But Eros International dismissed the rumours and issued a statement that it was a sudden surge in demand that brought about its postponement.
As per sources, Eros International said, “There was a sudden demand for an additional 200 prints for as many screens, all over the world, just two days before release after seeing the extraordinary response for the advance booking. 125,000 tickets were sold out in under two hours in Chennai alone. To avoid last minute delay on the screening material reaching theatres, the decision was taken to reschedule the film to May 23.”
Sources further added that, “All post production work has been completed and the film is censored in all six languages in 2D and 3D versions. It is ready for delivery next week. Last time Soundarya was running around and had a knife at her throat, but now we are well prepared and everything will go according to plan.”
So its celebration time for Rajinikanth fans as ‘Kochadaiiyaan’ is all set to release now.
