Faceoff! Deepika or Kriti, who made a better style statement in ethnic chandbalis?

An earring is that kind of an accessory which can literally turn a DRAB looking outfit into a spectacular one. With so many of our tinsel town divas wearing all sort of trendy jhumkas, cute danglers and what not, there are times when we just get floored by looking at such earrings. And very recently Deepika Padukone and Kriti Sanon wore chandbalis in silver and we can’t stop comparing!

And so let’s first talk about Deepika, who during the 3D trailer of her upcoming film ‘Padmavati’, opted for an outfit by ace designer Sabyasachi that featured a black sleeveless kurta with embroidered hem, white churidar and a black sheer dupatta. But apart from her dress, the one thing which caught our attention was her oversized pair of chanbalis from Amrapali. See the picture below:

Now moving onto Kriti Sanon who shared a picture of herself on Instagram, where she is seen wearing a Ridhima Bhasin ensemble which featured a black dress with shoulder cut out on one side, the actress looked fabulous. Further, she paired the look with a matching chandelier skirt that had gold embroidery all over it. But one thing which could not be missed were her chandbalis which were from the same brand as Deepika’s. Attention to details, that braided ponytail is just so stunning. Who wins, Deepika or Kriti?
So firstly we think that both the ladies really looked pretty in those silver chandbalis. But if we need to pick one out of the two, we guess it ought to be Kriti Sanon. Brownie points for Kriti here as we loved how she chose a modern attire, a swanky hairdo, perfect touch of makeup and those desi earrings. Better luck next time, DP!
