Faisal Khan wants to surprise brother Aamir Khan by turning director for ‘Factory’

Aamir Khan’s brother Faisal Khan will make his directorial and singing debut with his comeback movie ‘Factory’. In an interview to Mid-Day, Faisal said, “Direction was always on my mind, but this happened organically. We had another director [Sharique Minhaj] on board, but due to date issues, he couldn’t continue. That’s when I decided to step in.”

He also said that his brother Aamir Khan and mother know about the film. However, they don’t know that he has turned director. Faisal wants to surprise them after finishing one schedule and wants to see their reaction. Well, with the movie, Faisal has followed the footsteps of his brother who had directed ‘Taare Zameen Par’.

While talking about his singing in the movie, Faisal said, “Sharique insisted that I sing the song. I had no qualms about turning singer.”

Earlier, while talking to Pinkvilla, Faisal said that ‘Factory’ is his dream project. About the song, he said, “The ability to sing just came to me smoothly. Since ‘Ishq Tera’ is a soft, romantic track it was easy to croon. Having heard the final number, I feel quite proud.”
