Did you know Hips Don’t Lie choreography was done by Farah Khan?

Choreographer-director Farah Khan will be soon gracing an upcoming episode of ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ with evergreen beauty Raveena Tandon. However, many people are unaware, that Shakira’s popular song Hips Don’t Lie choreography was once done by Farah. The filmmaker revealed that once the Columbian singer wanted to perform a Bollywood dance routine to her popular track ‘Hips Don’t Lie.’

Sharing her experience about how Shakira’ Hips Don’t Lie choreography was done by her, Farah revealed: “I was called to New York because she (Shakira) wanted to perform the song Bollywood style. Thus, I went there and I choreographed ‘Hips Don’t Lie’ for her.” Kapil Sharma was also seen confessing his admiration for Shakira.

In the episode, Farah will also be seen revealing that she wants to see Kapil and Archana Puran Singh dance together on a romantic song. Further, the duo graciously accepts and were seen performing together on the song ‘Pehla Nasha’, with Farah guiding them. Further, ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ will also witness Farah and Raveena Tandon dancing with host, Kapil Sharma to the popular song, ‘Tip Tip Barsa Pani’.

Farah has choreographed dance routines for more than a hundred songs in over 80 films, winning six Filmfare Awards for Best Choreography and the National Film Award for Best Choreography. The popular songs choreographed by Farah include- Dil Bechara title track, Zingaat, Ghagra, Fevicol Se, Ishq Wala Love, Munni Badnaam Hui, Sheila Ki Jawani, Ek Pal Ka Jeena, Chaiyya Chaiyya, and many others.

Later, Khan then went on to direct her first film ‘Main Hoon Na’ starring Shahrukh Khan, Amrita Rao and Suniel Shetty. She last produced the Netflix movie ‘Mrs. Serial Killer’ in 2020, which starred Jacqueline Fernandez, Manoj Bajpayee and Mohit Raina. It was directed by Farah Khan’s husband Shirish Kunder.
