It was a few days ago that there were reports about a sequel on the cards for actor Shah Rukh Khan‘s 2004 released action drama film ‘Main Hoon Na’. But choreographer-turned-filmmaker Farah Khan who had made her directorial debut with this movie, has now denied the fact that she would be making the second part.
Recently, while she had made her way to attend a social initiative, Farah talked about her next project for which she is working on the script, further denying that it is not the sequel of ‘Main Hoon Na’.
Farah said to an agency, “Yes, I am working on a script but I am not making a sequel of ‘Main Hoon Na’. I did not announce anything officially on that. Many times, we chat or joke about something and that goes all over (in the media). However, nothing concrete is there. Currently, the script is in a developing stage… the story is very different and there is no big hero in that.”

“Since ‘Main Hoon Na’ is a cult film, if I want to make a sequel, the story has to be good! People have a huge expectation from that film. We might just take the character of Ram Prasad Sharma (played by Shah Rukh Khan) to the next level in the sequel but nothing substantial has been scripted. So I cannot say anything on that,” added the ‘Happy New Year’ helmer.
So, indeed this clarification would be a sad news for all the fans of Shah Rukh Khan and Farah Khan.
