Farah Khan: I was never pressurised by Salman Khan or Shah Rukh Khan

Bollywood’s hot shot filmmaker and choreographer Farah Khan, is best of friends with Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan. The talented director has always been on good terms with both of them even when the two were at loggerheads with each other. Farah Khan had hosted the last few episodes of Salman Khan’s hit reality show Bigg Boss too recently, she had the Khan’s support throughout. Farah has even made films with Shah Rukh Khan, their recent collaboration ‘Happy New Year’ was a major money spinner at Box Office.

Farah Khan said, “People ask, ‘Did you have to choose between Salman and SRK?,’ but it never came from either of them. Never have they asked me, ‘Why are you going to the other’s house?’ or ‘Why are you going to his farm for his birthday bash?’ or ‘Why are you doing ‘Munni badnaam hui’ Dabangg; 2010 when you are working on my film?’ Neither of the two ever put any pressure on me.”

Farah added, “Even when I took over Bigg Boss, Salman supported me. When he was out on bail recently, I didn’t go to his house when the press was there. I went on a day when he was alone, and we chatted for an hour. Recently, he said in an interview that I should do Bigg Boss since my TRPs were better than when he hosted the show. Only Salman can admit to that.”

On Shah Rukh Khan too Farah said. “When I go to Dubai, I stay at his villa. I just have to call Gauri Khan; Shah Rukh Khan’s wife, to inform her. At SRK’s production house, my room is kept as is, so that I can start my next whenever I want to. He has told me clearly, ‘Make what you want. Even if I am not in it, I will produce it.’”

Farah Khan confessed that at present she is working on small movie script but cannot predict if a big one might happen in the middle.
