The #MeToo movement has engulfed a lot of celebrities under its arms. After Alok Nath, Vikas Bahl, Rajat Kapoor, Luv Ranjan and Subhash Ghai, three women had accused filmmaker Sajid Khan of sexual assault. Recently, Sajid’s sister and ace director Farah Khan opened up about the allegations.

After the allegations got out, Sajid was sacked from the upcoming movie ‘Housefull 4’. Even Akshay Kumar asked him to leave the film.

She opened up about people’s hypocrisy and double standards. According to an interview with The Times of India, Farah said that she has always been supportive and sensitive towards the issue. But she was disturbed that people took a hypocritical attitude towards the whole situation. She said she has no issue with the victims. They can come out and talk.

She meant to say that Sajid was an easy target and not all accused are given equal attention. She thinks that there should be a proper process and not “trial by social media” as it’s very “dangerous”. She called out people’s double standards. She insisted that the allegations be processed in a legal way.
