Farah Khan & Sajid Khan’s mother Menaka Irani passes away at 79

It’s a sad day in the Khan household as renowned choreographer and director Farah Khan, and filmmaker Sajid Khan have lost their mother. As per reports, Menaka Irani passed away this morning at age 79. The cause of her demise is still unknown.

As per reports, Menaka recently underwent multiple surgeries due to an unspecified health issue. She was reportedly receiving treatment for the same over an extended period.

Farah Khan remembers mom Menaka

On July 12, Farah Khan took to her Instagram account and posted a sweet note on her mother’s birthday. Sharing two pictures with her mom, the filmmaker wrote, “We all take our mothers for granted… especially me! This last month has been a revelation on how much I love my mom Menka” She continued, “She has been the strongest, bravest person I’ve ever seen.. sense of humour intact even after multiple surgeries. Happy birthday mom! Today’s a good day to come back home ♥️ can’t wait for you to get strong enough to start fighting with me again.. i Lov u”
