Farah Khan says she wanted to run away in the first year of her marriage, Here’s why

Farah Khan has been married to film editor Shirish Kunder, for years now. The couple got married in 2004. The filmmaker-choreographer made a shocking revelation on a show recently. She said she wanted to run away in the first year of her marriage to Kunder. Farah Khan opened up about the struggles she faced during her first year of marriage with Shirish Kunder.

The Happy New Year director made an appearance on the show Mika Di Vohti. During her time on the show, Farah shared that it was so difficult for her in the first year of her marriage that she contemplated running away from home.

During her time on the show, Khan spoke to the contestants participating to marry Mika. She recalled the first year she got married. Zoom reported Farah saying, “Mika is a very sensitive person, only a sorted girl can handle him. I feel that there is no standard age of getting married, you should marry when you find the right person. I wanted to run away in the first year of my marriage because it’s very difficult to adjust.”

A few weeks ago, the filmmaker-choreographer had shared a string of photos of Shirish and wished him on his birthday. She shared a throwback photo of them, and other photos of Kunder with the kids. Sharing the photos, Farah wished Kunder and wrote, “Too bad .. i m never letting you go happy birthday @shirishkunder ( pics 2&3 will explain why) (sic).”

Meanwhile, Farah is currently vacationing with her family. She is making the most of her time with her 14-year-old triplets: Diva, Anya and Czar. The filmmaker-choreographer had taken to her Instagram to share a photo of her with her kids.
