Cannes 2019: Farah Khan comes out in support of Hina Khan over Chandivali jibe

Cannes 2019 film festival has begun and it has attracted many prominent stars from worldwide. We have already seen the likes of Kangana Ranaut, Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra walking down the red carpet and grabbing eyeballs. Now, TV actress Hina Khan also walked down the red carpet and it did not impress editor of a film magazine. Now, director and choreographer Farah Khan has come out in support of Hina.

Hina Khan has been getting rave reviews for her glamorous debut on the red carpet as she walked in a gorgeous grey embellished gown with much poise.

However, a magazine editor’s comment on Hina Khan’s Cannes appearance made TV industry boil in rage. Jitesh Pillai, the editor of a leading magazine, posted a picture of Hina Khan in his Insta story and wrote: “Cannes has suddenly become chandivali studios kya?”

Director Farah Khan has now come out in support of Hina and made her point on Twitter. The ‘Happy New Year’ director wrote, “Iv shot many a times at Chandivali Studios n its a great place !! So proud of you @eyehinakhan .. it’s not where we come frm but where we are going that matters!! Hav fun at #CannesFilmFestival2019 ur probably the only one who s there 4 the right reasons.. A film!!”
